• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety or similar field  and a minimum of 3 years of hands on,
• Ability to act with a consultative style, good listening ability and ability to communicate clearly and persuasively at all levels of the organization verbally and in writing,
• Ability to build consensus and sustain relationship  with many levels of the organization,
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with a variety of employee and vendor issues,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Turkish and English,
• Strong professional ethics which include approaching others in a tactful manner; reacting well under pressure; treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepting responsibility for own actions; following through on commitments,
• Ability to work flexible hours,
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally is required.

İŞ TANIMI

• Plans and coordinates project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks for those projects related to EHS operations,
• Plan and devise an EHS plan to elevate the Turkish operations to world class levels,
• Work as liaison between head office and the plants for the HSE management system activities,
• Be a leader in driving environment, health and safety culture at the mining and metallurgical sites,
• Development and delivery of training content,
• Identify,  track and improve on key EHS metrics,
• Establish,  implement,  and maintain OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system within in the organization and prepare the company to get the required certificates,
• Establish implement and maintain ISO14001 environmental management system,
• Qualify the company's environmental health safety policies, procedures, performance, track record and assist in the approval of and praise of the financial institutions.
