QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a 'HR Clerk or Specialist' to be based in YILPORT Holding Gebze Terminal

NOTE: The first interview will be conducted via a digital platform called "HR Venue" (a video based online interview system). The candidates who have the desired qualifications will receive an invitation from the HR Venue. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations & Labor Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Psychology or closely related field (Master’s degree in Human Resources Management is preferred)  
  • Written and oral fluency in English is a must; a second language (Spanish, Portugese) is preferred
  • Have minimum 2 to 5 years experience as an HR professional (preferably expert in one of the following functions: recruitment, performance management, training & development, organizational development, and career planning)
  • Technical proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Proven record of presentation (preparation and delivery) writing, reporting and research skills
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Work on multiple projects at once, sometimes under pressure and tight deadlines
  • A ‘can do’ approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description
  • Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Have customer, quality, process and result driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with individuals from various countries, cultures and levels within an organization
  • Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • Completed military service for male candidates
  • Living in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli or İstanbul – Anatolian side


İŞ TANIMI

HR Clerk / Specialist will play a vital role in the HR department. This includes, but not limited to, recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, training & development, career and succession planning processes to be applicable in both domestic and international ports. 

 Recruitment:
  • Report to the HR Business Partner to coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for all blue-collar and white collar roles (placing adverstisements online, reviewing and screening CVs, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks etc.)
  • Conduct face to face competency based interviews in English and Turkish
Onboarding:
  • Assist in the development of onboarding process and execution of orientation programs for new employees (orientation packages, employee handbook, presentation etc.)
Employer Branding:
  • Collaborate with the vocational schools and universities to promote employer branding and to acquire young talents for the organization (participating in the career days, sector days, sponsoring target events, organizing sites visits in the terminals)
  • Assist in the execution of the project oriencted internship program in a timely manner (including cooperation with the universities and vocational schools etc.)
HR Performance (research, metrics, KPIs):
  • Support HR Team for providing all kind of reporting and administrative tasks, and keeping HR records in a systematc way
  • Provide and prepare adiministrative support in the preparation of monthly/quarterly HR related reports and presentations
  • Take an active role as a gatekeeper in the development and execution of HR processes and programs at all YIILPORT Holding companies across borders
  • Take an active role in conducting research of the strategic HR and new trends/programs that can be applicable for the organization
Performance Development & Management:
  • Work with all departments to execute the Performance Management program for white and blue collar workforce
  • Work with the HR Business Partner and all department managers to identify succession needs and to develop action plans to address those needs
Employee Relations & Employee Engagement:
  • Develope and maintain a positive employee relation environment and conduct customer oriented approach at all levels
  • Generate creative ideas in organizing social and employee engagement activities for employees and support stronger internal communication within the organization
Training & Development:
  • Assist with identifying competency and skills based training needs of the employees
  • Provide assistance with organizing the training and development programs in-cooperation with line managers and service providers
  • Organizing training programs, in co-operation with line managers and follow up

Preferred Candidate

2 - 5 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Graduate)
Completed, Exempt
English(Reading : Advanced, Writing : Advanced, Speaking : Advanced)
