• Expert knowledge of 3D Modelling  techniques such as normal mapping, High and Low Poly modeling.  
• Strong knowledge of lighting, texturing, and CG shaders and the relationship between them.
• Thorough understanding of 3D editors such as Unity, Unreal, or similar game engines.
• 1+ years of 3D art creation in a production environment.
• Proactive team player.

Portfolio should be demonstrated mastery of these techniques.

BS degree in Fine Arts or equivalent work experience and detailed portfolio.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of 3D  low polly model creation using Blender or equivalent.
• Must have Unity3d experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate a broad range of talent and skill in terms of 3D modeling.
• Must understand optimization and performance requirements and be able to help guide best practices.
• Ability to adapt and be effective in new situations a dynamic environment.
• Self Starter who can identify and solve problems.
• Passion for simulators is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Create  3D production assets for our training simulator projects.
• Work closely with the development team to develop concepts, prototypes, and production ready content.
• Work closely with engineers and designers to implement art assets efficiently.
• Work closely with content team of our partners globally and collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Provide guidance and direction to external vendors and contractors as required.
• Carry out documentation of 3d content creation.
