Logistic Network Design Head of Section

BSH Home Appliances is searching for a Logistic Network Design Head of Sectionin Cerkezkoy with the following qualifications; 

• Industrial engineering, Masters degrees preferred,
• Minimum 5 years experience in Logistics focusing on warehouse network, logistics flow setup, warehouse operations design,
• Experience in matrix organizations a plus,
• Customer oriented approach(voice of customer)
• Entrepreneurial and innovative thinking to improve
• Excellent presentation and communications skills,
• Proven successes and experience in project management, 
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills,
• Strong intercultural skills,
• Open-mindedness for new ideas and challenges,
• No restriction for occasional travel abroad,
• Fluency in English language is mandatory, German knowledge is an asset, 
• Excellent MS Office programs knowledge.

İŞ TANIMI

The person will be responsible for;

• Coordinating productivity, capability and service projects within various countries in the region
• Following the logistic specific KPI' s and ensuring target reaching,
• Provide the outlook on the warehouse capacity need for short/mid/long term and translate into strategy
• Developing and implementing logistics network projects
• Lead improvement and optimization of warehouse processes and lay out by implementing new processes and track the performance of warehouse KPIs and conduct benchmark studies,
• Bridge the Demand/Supply and Sales figures to warehousing capacity , headcount and equipment needs on short/mid/long term and translate into strategies
• Track warehouse performance such as volumes, occupancy, productivity, etcand take necessary actions to improve,
• Partner with country level logistics managers to implement regional logistics strategy such as new DC set up or transport optimization initiatives,
• Carry out logistics network optimization studies in the Region to identify service, cost and lead time  improvement opportunities, with total cost perspective
• Manage team of logistics analysts focusing on warehouse operations, logistics network, productivity and process design, 
• Provide subject matter expertise to purchasing, import/export  and planning departments,
• Developing, implementing and tracking of Logistic Specific KPIs in the Region.
