Purchasing Specialist

 Qualifications and Skills:

• University degree preferably in engineering departments,
• Minimum of 3-5 years of purchasing or related experience preferably in mining sector for domestic and import procurement activities,
• Analytical and strong negotiation skills,
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback,
• Proactive approach working type,
• Team player and self-motivated,
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Strong problem solving skills,
• Effective communication and presentation skills,
• Ability to work independently,
• Ability to perform under deadline pressure,
• Very good computer, Windows and MS Office Software Skills,
• Experience on SAP is a plus,
• Very good command of English both written and spoken,
• Military services should be completed for male candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing the procurement operations according to the policy and procedures of Anagold within the framework of principle of purchasing the most suitable product for the most economic price in the shortest period,
• Performing goods and service purchases using the SAP ERP system,
• Solving the discrepancies that may occur during purchasing process,
• Expediting the purchase orders,
• Continuously seeks for better quality and better price alternatives for all procurement types. Sourcing New vendors/suppliers and products,
• Preparing necessary reporting requirement of management,
• Localisation of imported materials.
• Providing the communicational link between technical and commercial departments
• Performance management of suppliers/vendors based on the defined KPI’s.
