• BS in Computer Science/Engineering (M.Sc. and Ph.D. is a plus)
• Fluent at least one of the languages : Python, Java or Ruby
• Experience and working knowledge of relational database systems including design and query authoring. Experience with at least one of SQL databases like MySQL, SQL Server or PostgreSQL is required.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL database systems is required. Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB or Redis is a huge plus.
• Passionate about working on cutting-edge big data technologies and working on massive scale data with data warehouses such as Redshift and Athena.
• Knowledge of streaming data processing frameworks. Hands-on experience on Kafka, Kinesis, Apache Storm or Spark Streaming is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, HDFS and Map-Reduce is a huge plus.
• Experience on cloud systems is a plus. (preferably AWS)
• Familiarity with Linux shell environment.
• Being interested in AI / ML is a plus. Experience on numpy, pandas or scikit-learn is a huge plus.
• Strong partnership, communication and coordination skills

• Research, investigate and deploy scalable big data applications.
• Collect and analyze high volume of data from different sources to analyze and extract information that is valuable for both the company and the customers.
• Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of new features, deliver them on-time and at highest quality.
• Work closely with cross-discipline teams, provide analytic solutions for business problems.
• Big Data Analytics and Cloud platforms.
