QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Graduate from a reputable university as electrical, electronics, electronics and telecommunication engineering
Master degree in Electrical/Electronic field or MBA is also desired
Have minimum 6 years of experience in telecommunication
Have min 5 years of telecommunication transport planning experience
Have IP Network certifications, including CCNP, CCIE
Have driving licenses
Have not restriction for mobility
Good command of English
Have knowledge Huawei IP/MPLS and MW product portfolio.
Knowledge on IP/MPLS and L2/L3 VPN Technologies
Have a good experience on IP routing protocols such as IS-IS, BGP, signalling protocols such as LDP, RSVP.
Hands on experience on Huawei Routers/Switches.
Good knowledge on SDN and NFV concept
Ability to use Transport Planning tools (Trans, Atoll, U2000, North-I, Nettrans, PIWeb or other)
Military service completed for male candidates
Excellent communications skills
Takes personal responsibility
Can do, delivers, drives Vodafone to win

İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking an IP Transport Planning Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to IP Transport Planning Manager of Vodafone Turkey.

Develop projects that increases network efficiency and reduces opex,

-Transport topology project: create a transport topology with using existing resources, manage the relation between different departments and vendors in order to reach the target
-5G preperation for transport: prepare the methodology for getting ready to 5G, define the needs, prepare a initial plan, follow up over regions.
-SDN Readiness for transport: prepare project plans for the readiness to SDN, inline with the group strategy

Assess project risks and develop procedures, prepare Project status reports and follow up of Regional Project implementation
Define equipment to be used in the network and determine equipment type and quantities to be used in the projects,
Develop transport high level network plans, planning of the Network Services to meet sales team demands and market facts. Design network and dimension network elements, make dimensioning for the links between network elements (i.e: Abis, A-Int, Iub, Iur, s1, x2)
Collect coverage/capacity demand from related departments to design the network, assess traffic demand, define link protection methodology,
Define equipment to be used in the network and determine equipment type and quantities to be used in the projects,
Leads internal teams / task forces,
Keep up to date transport network inventory data,
Attend site survey and equipment acceptance studies.
Create design solutions and planning guidelines to enable efficient and standardized network.
Manage Vendor for all technical improvements to meet Transport Network requirements
Have good knowledge of Huawei RTN series of radiolinks and Huawei ATN/PTN aggregation nodes,
Optimize access network by using new hub points, prepare reroute plans in order to maximize network availability, optimize network by checking the utilization reports, prepare new capacity plans in order to maximize the efficiency
Check network quality reports, prepare action plans for the regions
Continually seek opportunities to decrease operational costs within the network
Follow up latest transport technologies, follow-up internal and global transport related trials and report them to Vodafone Global and legal authority.
Follow up Vodafone Global technical strategy/guidelines and implement it to local network.
Plan and design new business driven requirements and hand off to Operation team.
Make intercity longhaul radiolink network project,
Carry our acceptance tests, attend site surveys, make feasibility analysis,
Continually follow up cable availability& reliability, take measure if necessary,
Attend meetings held by state Organizations/Authorities.
Keep historical data of LL,
Follow up LL regulation and procedures within TT or Sector,
Benchmark LL tariffs and rental models,
Coordinate the VF Regions for LL requests and connections, focus on reducing OPEX
Review the list of LL enclosed with invoice sent by TT or the Provider; and report errors in the list, consult with TT or the Provider for corrections,
