GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

• At least 2 years experience in non-relational databases with Hadoop systems
• Strong understanding of Hadoop eco-system such as HDFS, MapReduce, HBase, Pig, Hadoop streaming, Sqoop, Spark/Shark and Hive
• Strong understanding of Big Data Analytics platforms and ETL in the context of Big Data
• Passion for Big Data technologies and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving
• Working knowledge of setting up and running Hadoop clusters
• Solid track record of building large scale systems utilising Big Data Technologies
• Knowledge on how to create and debug Hadoop jobs
• Experience in management of non-structured non-relational data
• Development experience, preferable across one or more of these languages - Java, Python, Scala, Node.js, C++
• Experience in logical and physical data modelling
• Excellent understanding of scheduling and workflow frameworks and principles
• Experience in NoSQL solutions
• Significant DBA background (Oracle)
• Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of database internals and data structure
• Oracle Exadata knowledge is a plus
• Fluency in English

İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a Big Data Systems Administration Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting Database Operations Manager of Vodafone Turkey.

The accountabilities of this role are:

• Setting up and running Hadoop clusters
• Create and debug Hadoop jobs
• Writing Hadoop Cluster monitoring/control scripts.
• To perform all type of Hadoop cluster upgrades on production and test systems.
• To prepare necessary platforms Hadoop component and carry out user acceptance tests.
• Hadoop Cluster Support & Maintenance
• Proactive monitoring of deployed systems and HW/SW components
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a related discipline
• Controlling access permissions and privileges
• Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
• To automate or assist the automation of relevant deployment activities.Resolution of Hadoop related problems reported by our customers, hardware and software maintenance issues, which include problem identification, diagnosing.Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide better.
