QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
MBtech Mühendislik ve Danışmalık Ltd. Şti. was founded in 2009 in Istanbul and is a fully-owned subsidiary of MBtech Group, which was initially founded in 1995 in Sindelfingen, Germany by Daimler AG to provide engineering services to the mobility sector.
In 2012, %65 of MBtech has been acquired by AKKA Technologies Group, a France-based global leader in engineering & consulting services. MBtech Group in itself has approximately 3,500 employees worldwide and is mainly catering services in Vehicle Engineering, Style and Design, Powertrain Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Solutions and Production Engineering. Today, MBtech Mühendislik ve Danışmalık Ltd. Şti. is the only official representation of AKKA Technologies Group in Turkey.

General Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent curriculum from an acclaimed Turkish - or international university. Additional BSc + MSc or Phd degree is preferred
- Excellent English language skills (both written & oral). Additional proficiency in German or French would be an asset
- International experience is highly desired
- At least 3 years of project management experience within the product development lifecycle (as well as in total have at least 7 years of experince) in (the Turkish) automotive, consumer electronics / appliances or machinery construction industries
- At least 3 years of Quality Management Experience (Quality assurance & control)
- Excellent process orientation and know-how of development processes
- In-depth experience and understanding of the R&D incentive programs (such as R&D Center, TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB, San-Tez, Horizon 2020 etc.) and solid track-record of leading R&D projects
- Managerial experience in projects (especially in preparing proposal, application, evaluation, tracking and reporting) to benefit from R&D incentives and grants
- Proven technical writing skills
- Outstanding analytical & technical innovation skills as well as strong commercial skills to develop and merchandise projects / know-how to the potential customers within multiple industries
- Ability to be self-directed, forward thinking and make complex decisions that drive business performance
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic competencies
- Customer orientated, constructive, friendly service approach with proven success of generating business
- Exceptional written and oral communications, influencing and customer service skills
İŞ TANIMI
- Responsible for analyzing, planned and ongoing engineering projects of AKKA/MBtech according to the eligibility criteria of R&D incentive and grant programs
- Centrally initiate, manage and lead R&D projects and be the key responsible during project proposal preparing, submission, evaluation, implementing, tracking, reporting and competently presenting AKKA/MBtech competences to the government authorities
- Ensure quality and R&D conformity of ongoing engineering projects within MBtech Turkey
- Recognize new market opportunities, seize new chances for projects and develop and execute ideas with an entrepreneurial/commercial approach
- Seek out, identify, contact potential customers and build relationships to develop sustainable and value-added projects
- Independently identify innovative technologies & solutions, consumer insights, skillfully and technically translate those insights into product and project attributes, prototypes, manage the design and development of research studies
- Collaborate closely with local and international counterparties, Operations, Engineering teams, government institutions, universities as well as with potential customers to both lead and perform the work necessary to bring a concept to market
- Influence and lead others, both internally and externally, drive projects forward and troubleshoot issues under aggressive timing
- Responsible to design and improve technology management processes for increasing of operational excellence
