Our Company, part of Tate&Lyle, is a provider of ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage, paper and packaging industries. We make a range of products and ingredients at our local corn-processing plant, while we are also selling many other high quality ingredients and solutions from other Tate & Lyle locations in the world.
A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales professional who has the hunger to be a part of a young and dynamic Turkish Sales team as an Area Sales Manager
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering.In addition, a degree in sales/commercial/business would be a plus.
- More than 5 years of experience in technical sales and service in the dairy area in the Turkish market
- Excellent use of windows applications, knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge and experience identifying sales opportunities and negotiating and extracting maximum commercial value from contacts in the market
- Having the technical and commercial knowledge to build and improve customer relationship,
- Good technical competency in food ingredients, preferable hydrocolloids, emulsifiers and stabilizers
- Strong problem solving ability, flexible and initiative taker to achieve business/sales targets with a team orientated environment,
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills,relationship building skills.
- Self-motivated, high on achievement; result-oriented, able to work under pressure, self starter,
- Exceptional influencing, negotiating and persuading skills.
- Target focused
- Team building and communication skills
- Fluent in English both written and spoken,Other languages are an advantage but not essential.
- Driving license is a must,
- Military service must be completed for male candidates,
- Living in İstanbul or Bursa or willing to live in these cities.
- No local and international travel restrictions.

Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for managing, developing and growing the sales of food stabilizer systems within the assigned territory while managing margin expectations
- Responsible for assessing market opportunities and organizational capabilities and utilizing these efficiently and effectively to grow the business in territory.
- Provide accurate monthly reporting and sales forecasts as required.
- Negotiations regarding volumes, prices and general conditions with existing and potential customers,
- Build up market knowledge and analyze trends,
- Regular contacts with customer service agents and people responsible for supply chain, quality, etc.
