• University Degree
• Previous leadership experience in a Sales & Marketing department required
• Experience in Sales & Marketing minimum 4 years
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• Good command of Turkish and English, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable, strong analytical skills, excellent decision making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Establishes relations with social organizations, clubs, associates, press, online media, protocol, government and municipality offices

Keeps the data of these sources always up-to-date in our information systems

Participates to various social and promotional events (even hotel’s not own event) in the hotel and outside of the hotel

Plays an active role to find sponsors for the events of the hotel

Coordinates with the local and foreign PR agencies that hotel works with

Follows up award applications on behalf of the hotel and participates to award ceremonies to represent the hotel

Welcomes and handles all press familiarization trips to our hotel

Supports the guest relations activities of the hotel

Monitors the media for the press impressions about the hotel, prepares monthly media clipping report and presents to GM and DOSM

Assist the DOSM by preparing newsletters or other promotional materials

Assist the DOSM by updating the press kit of the Hotel regularly

Prepares and follows up the content of Swissper magazine

Conducts photo shooting at hotel premises (with a professional photographer of related field) up to brand guidelines

Responsible to prepare all hotel collateral up to Swissotel standards
- Works closely with design/advertisement agency in order to conduct marketing related duties
- Assists sales team for any guest and colleague related collateral and design format
- Identifies and analyzes issues, patterns and trends in customer requests & product performance
- Transfers the information to the appropriate departments so that they can respond accordingly
- Authors blog posts, articles, podcasts, videos and screencasts to communicate creative uses of networks from the simple to the very complex.
- Reports metrics on a monthly basis including recommendations
- Strategizes an effective marketing (above the line and below the line) strategy

Maximizes brand visibility on all social media avenues including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Trip Advisor, Wikipedia,

Updates hotel’s content at all Online Travel Agencies (booking.com, Expedia.com etc.)
- Works closely with social media agency in executing digital marketing strategy of the hotel
- Runs social media campaigns with the help of digital marketing agency
- Participates in professional networking by following the prominent bloggers and online writers & attending events.
- Handles barter agreements with related partners in line with FRHI financial guidelines
- Responsible of media buying according to set budget and hotel’s media strategy
- Handles marketing opportunities that come from external potential partners
- Prepares content for all organizations that hotel is part of (Istanbul Convention and Visitors Bureau, Leading Hotels of the World, Signature Travel Network, TUROB etc.)
- Constantly seeks ways to improve the public picture and image of the hotel
- Performs other duties and special projects as and when assigned
