Mediation Solutions Senior Specialist

We are seeking a Mediation Solutions Senior Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting Mediation Solutions Manager of Vodafone Turkey.
 
The accountabilities of this role are:

• Participate and review development design and code within the team.
• Develop, design and implement solution. (Drawing simple flow chart, Designing database model, Designing modules (methods, functions, procedures...), Writing release notes & related software development documents)
• Doing Unit tests, Solving software defects, Testing usability, scalability, performance, compatibility, reliability of software.
• Identify solutions for issues and prioritize efforts for solving them.
• Supporting service management department for installing or maintaining the software product as long as required.
• Support and consult junior software developers.
• Do the maintenance and 3rd level support of the products delivered, as long as required.
• Working with partners to envision, define, and execute integrations of software into our customers software platform.
• Follow the evolving business proactively and be prepared for the new services to be demanded on the related modules.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve our time to market and service quality.
• Contribute creative ideas to the product development pipeline.
• Spread the research results and know-how to the team.
• Work as a team member in software development processes.

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or in a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good understanding of the Telecommunications Business.
• Good understanding of Mediation, Interconnection, GSM, GPRS network.
• Good understanding of the Company’s Operating Structure
• Good understanding of Information Technologies, Algorithms, Relational Databases, Object Oriented Technologies.
• Good understanding of software development process.
• Good knowledge on Object Oriented analysis, design and coding.
• Significant experience with some of the following technologies: C, C++, Pro*C, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Java, J2EE.
