Innovation & Technology Manager

BSH Home Appliances is searching for an Innovation & Technology  Manager to be employed in Çerkezköy Production Plant & Maslak Technology Office partially.

• Masters of Engineering, Physics or equivalent departments. BA/BS degree maybe considered with additional experience,
• MBA, second study in economics or equivalent work experience in a technical as well as service industry environment,
• Minimum 8 years experience in engineering, R&D, Innovation and/or Technology development,
• Minimum 5 years experience managing and/or coordinating groups/people for a common purpose,
• Ability to operate successfully in a multi dimensional matrix organization,
• Advanced level of English knowledge. (German is a plus),
• International innovative business entrepreneur; ability to recognize current and future key trends
• Organizational and good communication skills.

• Strengthens the BSH competitive position in the Region Turkey - Middle East - Africa – CIS by regional innovation and technology activities and projects,
• Ensures the long term viability of BSH in respect to innovation, technology and new business opportunities and regional transfer for commercialization of disruptive innovations and aligns with BSH Corporate Innovation activities,
• Identifies new business opportunities by radically new features in existing products/services or completely new ones,
• Turns innovative concepts/ideas into product or service innovations leading to additional new commercial opportunities or a competitive advantage,
• Accountability for supporting management of global innovation funnel and aligns regional innovation management, scouting and alliances,
• Accountability for identifying and supporting decisions on global innovation projects and activities that lead to a competitive advantage and future business for BSH,
• Assembles, develops and maintains regional alliances to gain competitive advantage and execute commercial opportunities,
• Develops decision papers at each gate and for market introduction,
• Measures to improve innovation culture in the region are identified and synchronized with relevant parties in the region (Corporate Communications, R&D, HR...),
• Assembles, develops and maintains regional network. Continuously assesses further funding potentials and enforce application. Identify and coordinate direct R&D funding opportunities within BSH,
• Manages regional technology projects. Ensures coordination and realization of technology projects in the region with product groups in the region including production technologies and transfer technologies,
• Assesses, enforces, coordinates and realizes university collaboration projects. Manages University Collaboration and Technology Network,
• Derives R&D funding management in the region Management of R&D -Center incentive and certificate. Ensures coordination and realization of regional R&D funding projects.
