Welding Engineer

We are seeking a “Welding Engineer” for our production facility in Turkey to supply a leading global automotive OEM.
 

• University degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering
• Should have a degree of Europen Welding Engineer ( EWE) or  European Welding Technologist ( EWT)
• Minimum 3 years welding process experience
• Preferably industry experience in automotive
• Excellent command of verbal and written English
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications
• Problem solving abilities, objective oriented, self motivated and team player
• No obstacles for international travelling
• Completed military service for male applicants
• Living in or willing to relocate to Gebze, İstanbul Asian Side or İzmit.
   

İŞ TANIMI

•  Preparing welding standards, having them implemented in processes, following all abnormalities and defects,  analyzing root causes, solving problems and reporting results
•  Define necessary equipment and fixtures based on production concept
•  Training and control of welders
•  Coordination between designer, production technicians and QM
•  Programming of Robots and Welding Machinery
•  Control of welding process to achieve the quality/delivery /cost targets of the plant
