GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Vodafone is strongly committed to lead the digital transformation in the Turkish Market, where the company has been operating and investing heavily since 2006.

2-4 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions.
Proficient level of Business Intelligence concepts and SAP Business Objects Reporting solutions knowledge, consulting experience is a plus.
Knowledge of concepts related to design, implementation and maintenance of data warehouses.
Strong SQL proficiency, as well as experience with procedural extensions (PL/SQL, T-SQL or similar).
Capable of building or modifying Universes in Business Objects to support the creation or modification of Reports in Business Objects.
Hands on experience designing dashboards with Xcelsius and Design Studio are must. Familiarity with other Business Intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Cognos, Tableau, Qlikview etc. is a plus.
Strong analytical, time management, organizational and hands-on problem solving skills.
In depth knowledge of Database servers.
Familiarity with installation and upgrade processes of Business Objects in UNIX environment will be a great asset.
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Problem solving skills for assessing client issues and determine system designs to meet functional requirements.
Experiences with at least two programming language required.

İŞ TANIMI

We are seeking a Decision Support Systems Senior Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting Decision Support Systems Manager of Vodafone Turkey.

The accountabilities of this role are:

Keeping overall system’s availability, reporting performance and quality high to ensure the BI platform end users’ satisfaction.
Translating business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources. Participate in the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and warehousing approaches.
Plan and develop policies and procedures to improve the reporting quality and efficiency of the department.
Evaluate new technologies and enhancement of related to products/solutions.
Well-developed skills in telecommunication technologies (> 3 years of experience).
Well-developed skills in OSS, software architecture.
Strong SQL proficiency, as well as experience with procedural extensions (PL/SQL, T-SQL or similar).
Proficient level of BI concepts and SAP BO Reporting solutions knowledge, consulting experience is a plus
Hands on experience designing dashboards with Xcelsius and Design Studio are must.

Decision Support System infrastructure and software support. Keep administration, management, backup restore and disaster recovery procedures updated.
Preparing the organization's disaster recovery and business continuity plans for information systems.
Analyse statistical and operational data to maintain infrastructure health and security.
Testing and reporting new features/versions.
Updating and implementing new solutions to agreed specifications.
Monitoring implementation’s performance and stability.
Experience migrating data and modifications between environments.
Develop enhancements for existing tools to meet the requirements.
Deployment and Installation of new products and configuration in such a way as to address the internal customer's business needs.
