Business Control Executive

Founded in 1996, Ak Gıda having 5 plants and over 2500 employees offers its consumers healthy and tasty milk and dairy products.
In 2015, Groupe Lactalis, the leader of the global dairy market, incorporated Ak Gıda into its organization which has the brandsPresident, Galbaniand Parmalat. The brand İçim is the 3rd biggest brand of Groupe Lactalis in Europe.

We are currently looking for an Business Control Executive reporting to Finance Group Manager to join our rapidly-expanding Turkish enterprise in İstanbul.

• University degree in Business Administration / Economics / Engineering
• Proficiency in English (written and oral)
• 3-4 years of audit experience (Big 4 preferred) and 3-4 years of operational experience in FMCG (at least 1 year as a supervisor)
• Working knowledge on internal control and IS&IT applications
• Developed communication skills for negotiation with tact and diplomacy
• Located in İstanbul

İŞ TANIMI

• Steer the execution of a proactive, systematic and disciplined internal control approach in the organization,
• Analyze of existing processes also design and implement internal control methodology in order to meet the needs of complex pricing structure,
• To analyze the results of internal controls and to take necessary actions to prevent failures,
• To ensure that the regulations, procedures and instructions of the company are properly applied in the operational and financial areas,
• To ensure that the risks associated with the operations of each level of the organization, as well as the internal control activities, are identified and control activities are established to ensure that these risks are managed correctly and on time,
• To analyze and ensure that all on and off invoice rebates are issued, accounted and received are in line with the working conditions of the company,
• To identify, measure and monitor all internal control points, to prepare the company's risk map by taking part in its functions,
• Support all related departments (including category management, sales, distribution & 3rd parties) to design internal controls aligned with Lactalis best practices in their duty to safeguard the company’s assets,
• Manage Internal Control Self-Assessment process, prepare action plans (where needed) and provide guidance to strengthen and reinforce the efficiency and effectiveness of internal control processes
• Update top management members on key business risks, internal control gaps and actions to be taken
• Initiate and contribute to different projects aiming at improving Internal Control environment
• Alignment with internal and external audit teams
