Senior Internal Auditor

Assist the Internal Audit Senior Manager and support the Audit Team to enable the Team Members to give the Group Board and Local Management risk based independent assurance of the effectiveness of the internal controls in operation.

• Identify and report on all significant business related control weaknesses by ensuring that high risk areas are subject to greater focus than low risk areas
• Undertake audits inside and outside own territory by leading or working with another member of the IA team in accordance with the Vodafone Group IA guidelines and in line with the IA methodology.
• Enable the Group to satisfy the Corporate Governance requirements of the various regulatory authorities on whose exchanges the Group’s shares are listed
• Interact with management to ascertain progress of the improvement activities defined according to auditing results.
• Provide periodic updates on the status of the outstanding audit findings
• Undertake special business related projects, ad-hoc audits, project reviews or similar on request
• Support the audit planning process by participating in the management perception of risk interviews with the CXOs and identifying impact and likelihood of high risk areas
• Support the preparation of Audit Committee report
