QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Operations professional with line management experience who has the drive, communication skills and commercial acumen to make a significant impact to the business.
Formal training in a physical science or engineering discipline.
Strong people management skills and demonstrated leadership ability both remotely and virtually.
Demonstration of sound understanding of HSSE methodology and analysis with capability to effectively implement HSSE standards.
Operational knowledge including joint venture and concession management practices
Aware and able to drive and implement best practice processes whilst keeping an open mind to the local environment.
Proven ability to create and manage effective alliances with key stakeholders
English skills both verbal and written.
HSSE Management: Own the HSSE MS, the HSSE case and HRAs for area of responsibility. Develop and implement HSSE plans and ensure alignment of operations with local legislation. Manage all hazards and risks of the airfield operations to ALARP levels. Encourage a generative HSSE culture.
Capex Delivery:Identification of Capex requirements and lead for subsequent approval process. Implementation of approved Capex budgets.
Training & Competency Development:Develop and coordinate the yearly resourced country training plan for all staff under operational control, ensuring timely delivery of planned modules.
Supply and Distribution:Understands the supply logistics to the airports and communicate effectively with MSD around any deviations in demand, supply and distribution. Remove obstacles that prevent optimal supply structures.
Compliance:Ensure full alignment to the compliance requirements of Shell Aviation and monitor the close out of any inspection findings.
Costs and efficiency:Plan and monitor the airfield budgets. Develop and implement supply chain and point of sale structural cost reduction plans for relevant airports.
Stakeholder Engagement:Manage relationships with local representatives of Airport Authorities, Civil Aviation Authorities, Airlines at airport level, the local Shell Operating Unit and other key stakeholders.
People:Coordinate competency development, career management and leadership development to ensure attractiveness to employees and develop an open and professional culture.
JV Management:Ensure that fit for purpose business controls are used to meet relevant objectives in accordance with group guidelines and policies including responsibilities to shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers and 3rd parties.
Customer:Implement operational elements of various market segment CVPs
