QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
• Preferably a B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Industrial Engineering, or in a similar field
• Knowledge of Business Analysis methods,
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking,
• Strong problem solving skills and relationship management competencies,
• High level of MS Office proficiency,
• High level of proficiency in both oral and written English,
• Result oriented,
• Open to learn, self-motivated,
• Interest in programming and algorithms,
• Preferably good knowledge of SQL and database structure,
• Preferably experienced in a statistical analysis software (SPSS, Minitab, SAS, R, etc.),
• Completed/Postponed military service for male candidates.
• Continuously works with merchandising and operation teams to gather feed-backs about forecasts, as well as insights about future demand in order to systematically improve forecasting methods and their accuracy.
• Prepares and gives trainings to store managers and section managers on forecasting methodology in order to increase the quality of their forecasts.
• Maintains automated forecast systems (SQL procedure).
• Regularly keeps track of every day forecast errors, distinguish noise, and acts to eliminate real errors structurally.
• Does research and collaborate with consultants and academia towards improving methods and forecast accuracy.
• Reports all forecast related outputs and inference material to all relevant parties.
• Automates reports which will be sent on a regular basis, through working with IT-teams.
