İŞ TANIMI

Global Commercial (GC) Finance Advisor is responsible for delivering world-class financial management and support to GC Businesses in Turkey (Lubricants Sales & Marketing, LSC, focal points for Marine, Aviation and Bitumen businesses). GC Finance Advisor is the integrator for Finance - ensuring effective and value-adding finance management across the end-2-end value chain of the GC businesses, as well as the global, local and Finance Operations teams.  In addition, the Finance Advisor integrates across the different finance functional areas, including Tax, Treasury, Credit, Contracting & Procurement.

GC Finance is a valued partner of the respective GC business teams and delivers best practice finance management and operates visibly alongside the key business and finance areas. Finance Advisor is responsible for effectively supporting the management of strategy, E2E process management, contract management, cash management, risk management and cost management.  In addition, GC Finance Advisor is critical for supporting business agenda and effective decision making in business through the provision of transparent information – and driving understanding of and focus on key areas such as Investment Proposals i.e. Business Development Funds; CAPEX); OPEX and Working Capital.
 
GC Finance Advisor will provide and/or interpret standardized MI in co-operation with Finance Operations Team. Ad hoc analysis and ability to problem-solve is essential to ensuring the business is well supporting in its business decisions and setting/delivering the strategic objectives.
 
As a Finance Focal Point for the global Aviation, Marine and Specialties businesses, GC Finance Advisor’s role is largely ad hoc to trouble-shoot or support in situations which are difficult to manage from outside of Turkey.  This includes complexities due to local fiscal, regulatory or legislative requirements – and issues that arise due to local risk/control issues.
