ADECCO ANKARA

• University Degree in Sociology, PDR, Education Faculty, Child Development or Social Service. Knowledge and awareness on gender equality, existing support mechanisms for protection, prevention of SGBV and empowerment are asset.
• At least 1 years of professional experience at national level; international experience is preferable.
• Fluent in writing, speaking and reading in the Turkish  language; command of aRABİC, Kurdish and English is preferable.
• Good at Microsoft Office, Windows-based programs.
• Ability to use communication and counselling skills effectively. High level social and verbal skills.
• Citizens of the Republic of Turkey or persons with a temporary or international protection status or residence permit in Turkey.

İŞ TANIMI

• Works in full cooperation with the other personnel at the center / in the mobile team.
• Provides information and counselling to refugees on their rights, available services and in any other subject they may need.
• Refers refugees to necessary services and support mechanisms.
• Provides an empowering setting for refugees. Carries our attitude and behaviour development activities in order to help refugees use the legal systems, means and institutions they need to safely solve their problems. Supports refugees in developing skills of acting in concert and organization.
• Carries out social integration activities. Prepares information settings by organizing activities to break prejudices and organizes joint activities in order to help refugees integrate into the society.
• Supports refugees in developing participatory behaviours. Prepares an environment for refugees to allow them to play an active role in identifying the activities in the center.
• Organizes social activities for the beneficiaries together with the staff of the center (picnics, movies, theatre plays, cultural activities etc.)
• Helps refugees overcome challenges at work, school or other settings.
• Conducts home visits (when needed) and supports data collection.
• Conducts local project events (e.g. meetings, workshops, trainings) and, if needed and necessary capacity is available, trainings in the project provinces.
• If trained to do so, manages cases of protection and sexual and gender based violence.
