The Laboratory Manager Position differentiates itself for being in a global group that oversees the global bio-pharma industry and provides application support in the form of process development, consulting and/or training to the industry and academia. The position is in a highly dynamic group and provides many opportunities for individual career development.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical engineering or related Life Sciences field
- Minimum 4+ years of industrial experience in bioprocess development, scale-up, tech transfer or manufacturing
- Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence, both within GE and with our channel partners
- Willingness and ability to travel within the region
- Excellent oral and written communications skills. Capable and comfortable with telephone and web-ex presenting.
- Strong analytical and process skills

Desired

- MS/PhD Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical
Engineering or related Life Sciences field
- 6+ years of Vaccine, MAb plasma, recombinant protein manufacturing and/or process development experience
- Strong industrial experience in purification of biomolecules (upstream, downstream, technology transfer, validation, process development, biomanufacturing)
- Experience with Unicorn™and Assist softwares
- Prior teaching and/or presenting scientific material experience would be highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed and customer focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationship with co-workers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with good presentation skills
- Able to operate in a high pace environment with frequent changes
- Strong time management, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities and undertake challenging tasks and/or global projects.
- Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
- A high degree of self-motivation.

İŞ TANIMI

Essential Responsibilities

- Working with customers in a strong collaboration environment
- Managing the laboratory consumables, supplies and overall maintenance of the lab
- Responsible for setting up the lab, scheduling courses and ordering necessary materials for the courses
- To host/train Customers (internal/external)
- Adding value to GE’s customers by identifying continuous improvement opportunities in their bio-manufacturing processes and designing and implementing innovative process enhancement
- Supporting regional commercial and marketing teams with customer demonstrations, applications
& roadshows
- Helping out trainers before, during and after each course in order to ensure seamless course delivery and maximum customer satisfaction
- To maintain accurate and complete records of all work, and report to customer and management in oral and written manner
- Developing and maintaining relationships with the regional commercial and marketing teams, as well as the global FastTrak and R&D organizations
