Licenced Customs Broker

• Graduated from Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Foreign Trade or Internatıonal Relations
• Knowledge of customs laws, practices and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
• 3 years experience in related field
• Hold current Customs Brokers license (A karne)
• Able to use Related Customs Software (e.g. Evrim, ISIS)

• Classify goods according to tariff coding system
• Receive, prepare and process export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures
• Pay or arrange for payment of, taxes and duties on shipments
• Signing declarations
• Calculate duty and tariff payments owned on shipments
• Stay abreast of changes in import or export laws or regulations by reading current literature, attending meetings or conferences, or conferring with colleagues
• Monitor or trace the location of goods
• Informing of steps to reduce duties and taxes
• Apply for tariff concessions or for duty drawbacks and other refunds
• Educate as well as train the Customs staff. Recognize the individual's weaknesses or problem areas and assist them in strengthening themselves in these areas
