Packaging Development Team Leader

• Possess an engineering degree, preferably with a Phd degree and 2 years of experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience,
• Fluency in English is mandatory,
• Have passion for packaging to contribute to a great consumer experience and create strong brands through innovation,
• Demonstrate experience in packaging development at a consumer goods company, preferably in the fabric care and home care category,
• Have theoretical knowledge and working experience on packaging manufacturing processes such as EBM, IM, ISBM.
• Intention to continue a growthful career in packaging development,
• Excellent problem solving skills and crisis management,
• Able to leverage interpersonal skills to form strong relationships / build networks internally and externally,
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to listen and translate this into actions,
• Team player with a natural ability to take the lead where/when needed,
• Ability to adapt well to new environments in a very dynamic company and manage changes at a very fast pace,
• Highly professional project manager, with strong work ethic,
• Self-motivated person with ability to quickly understand objectives and independently manage the delivery of results.

İŞ TANIMI

• Identify new packages, upstream packaging technologies and material application opportunities and assess the feasibilty of them and lead defining packaging strategies and directions in Home Care category,
• Able to translate technology, market and consumer insights into targeted concepts and product specifications,
• Being recognized as an expert on packaging processes and materials,
• Improve the capability of the organization in multiple areas : Innovation, Technical know-how, designing best practices, and executing with excelence,
• Give organizational and functional trainings to the organization to improve performance and capabilities,
• Review and approve technical specifications and reports,
• Lead a team of specialists and researchers up to 4 people,
• Partner with external functions, such as Marketing, Product Design, Product Supply, Plant Manufacturing, Product Research, Supply Chain, to enable timely delivery of new initiatives,
• Interpret and challenge effectively the analysis of technical data,
• Collaborate with external suppliers to find relevant outside trends and capabilities, assess their capabilities and qualify them on new Technologies, improve the capabilties of existing suppliers,
• Develop and recommend business and delivery plans based on current technical results and internal/external capabilities,
• Write Patents and Articles,
• Increase the productivity of the team and establish standard methods to deliver high quality initiatives
