• BS in Computer Science/Engineering (M.Sc. and Ph.D. is a plus)
• Knowledge about web technologies; HTTP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JSON, Ajax, MVC and Internet Technologies
• Knowledge about one of the web programming languages; Ruby, Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Knowledge about web frameworks; Rails, Django, etc.
• Knowledge about database management systems,
• Knowledge and general understanding of SQL,
• Basic knowledge about REST and RPC service patterns and other client/server interaction models,
• Strong partnership, communication and coordination skills,
• Ability to work independently to deliver well thought out solutions,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Thinking broadly about business,
• Understanding needs of the market & customer,

Arçelik A.Ş. is looking for an Engineer – R&D (SW ) who will work for Innovation Directorate.

• Research, investigate, and develop server side software; services, applications and opportunities.
• Design and set up the architecture for large scale web projects including the framework, database, and analytics,
• Working closely with a cross-discipline team to define and develop front-end implementations,
• Design software side of core server architecture for the service,
• Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of new features, deliver them on-time and at highest quality.
