Environmental Engineer

 Qualifications and Skills:

• University Degree in Environmental Engineering,
• Good command of English both written and spoken,
• Understanding of environmental monitoring and sampling practices,
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, waste management practices and regulatory notifications,
• Good command of MS Excel is a must,
• GIS and CAD knowledge will be treated as an advantage,
• Being solution focused and analytical thinker,
• To be able to be compatible with teamwork,
• B class driving license and being an active driver,
• Willingness to live in İliç / Erzincan

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing spot checks or periodical environmental and compliance inspections to overall mine site operations and the exploration activities at prospects of the company
• Identify environmental hazards, create registers, track actions in SAP HSE module,
• Do task based environmental risk analyses, create registers and identify and track the action items,
• Improve environmental monitoring and sampling programs of the company,
• Review of environmental procedures, SOPs or create new ones when needed,
• Provide environmental trainings to Anagold or contractor employees,
• Generate performance reports, visualize the effectiveness of environmental performance
• Track environmental permitting and licensing processes,
• Make recommendations for improvement opportunities in the environmental management system’s components,
• Work collaboratively with other employees of company, contractors and establish interdepartmental coordination when needed
