Financial Controller

• BA degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or equivalent from a reputable university in Turkey or abroad. (MBA is an asset)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in financial controlling and reporting preferably in an international audit company
• Experience in leasing is a plus
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Good understanding of IFRS and Turkish accounting, tax requirements and customs
• Advanced user of SAP Modules and MS Office applications
• Effective business analysis skills and numerate with a high level of attention to details
• Familiarity with the setting up and registration of international presences
• Ability to work with deadlines, sets self targets for himself/herself to achieve results
• Strong problem solving and planning/organizing skills
• All male candidates must have completed their millitary service requirements

İŞ TANIMI

• Accurate IFRS reporting to the regulators and in compliance with accounting standards
• Ensure that all the payments and collections are realized in a timely manner
• Preparation of budgets and financial reports and overseeing their evaluation
• Presenting the various accounting reports to the top management and making suitable observations and recommendations
• Reviewing financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data
• Assisting in the company’s monthly and yearly closing
• Monitoring investment policies and operations of the company
• Managing operational data and maintaining data accuracy and integrity
• Preventing inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting
• Conducting account reconciliations and analysis
• Assisting with yearly audit preparation if requested.
• Acting as the contact person and working together with external and internal auditors.
