What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Bachelor’s degree in  Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical / Civil Engineering.
* Min. 5 years of experience in various purchasing roles in the FM / Indirect Material / construction procurement area and, if possible, extensive cross-functional experience in 2-3 year assignments in various function areas.
* Demonstrable significant experience of working in procurement and cross-functional experience through project work in a related functional area. Experience of delivering presentations to internal and external groups of varying sizes.
* Experience of moderating meetings with internal and external parties.
* Experience of delivering projects to agreed timescales and a working awareness of project management methodologies.
* Desirable: some international work experience and a degree of orientation/knowledge and capability of working with other cultures.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Commercial knowledge and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of contract law.
* Very good command of English .

İŞ TANIMI

For our SCM group in Kartal, we are looking for a Strategic Procurement Specialist. This role will be responsible for managing Strategic Procurement activities on corporate level, comprised of demand analysis, market analysis, selection of suppliers, conducting cost effective purchasing negotiations, supplier and contract management, claim management, for the supply of Siemens Real Estate division, with involvement at an early stage. Organizing, controlling, monitoring and introducing procurement strategies to ensure maximum contribution to the operating result and optimizing utilization of resources. Active participation in global networking as well as collaboration with other affiliate companies by way of pooling of demands and getting in line with global strategies as nominated Commodity Manager.

What are my responsibilities?
* Ensuring strategic procurement for the assigned material fields, in which case the potential for bundling all sites/projects of the Region is exploited to achieve the best conditions based on delivery excellence.
* Organize and execute regional and cross-regional pooling of the demands of the different sites and projects for optimum utilization of procurement power.
* Analyse and understand internal demand to create a basis for deciding on the optimum pooling and sourcing strategy.
* Analyse supply markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategy.
* Define and implement pooling strategy and drive implementation of sourcing strategy in order to achieve the maximum profit contribution to the corporate targets.
* Develop and conclude contract document to guarantee security of supplies at the best conditions.
* Close working relationship with Siemens Real Estate and Siemens Operating Companies in order to implement energy efficiency measures.
* Management of the Energy Consultant / Broker (if any) to ensure that the agreed Energy Risk Policy is delivered.
* Produce Demand and Budget Forecast in conjunction with the Operating Companies and Siemens Real Estate.
* Undertake supplier management (jointly with partner functions, e.g. specialist department, quality. logistics, etc.) in order to obtain the best suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain.
* Define concepts for risk and contract management to avoid risk and warranty costs.
* Maintain intensive regular contact with internal/external interface partners in order to recognize developments (market, demand, etc.) and exert the appropriate influence.
* Edit and check defined information and key data across operating companies boundaries in order to make results transparent and control procurement activities so as to optimize results.
* Break down (material-related) target figures into operating companies'/ sites to define strategies and set the corresponding targets.
* Plan, track and document relevant savings to ensure compliant realization of savings targets.
* Interdisciplinary workgroup/project work to stay informed, exert influence, and optimize internal processes and procedures.
