- University degree from a relevant discipline, preferably from engineering
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in planning, designing, deploying, managing/ troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server (2010, 2013), Microsoft Lync Server (2010, 2013), Symantec Enterprise Vault systems as well as the following areas: DNS, Windows Server 2008 / 2012, and Windows PowerShell. Citrix Virtual Desktop experience is a plus.
- Practical experience in configuring and managing high availability and site resilient solutions for the above mentioned systems.
- Certification preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented, organized and possess self-management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks and projects.
- Experience working in a large, enterprise environment with 1000+ users.
- Must have excellent working experience with problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis.
- Fluency in English.
- Male candidates must have completed their military services.
- Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress.
İŞ TANIMI
We are seeking a Windows Services Senior Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting Windows Services Manager of Vodafone Turkey.
The accountabilities of this role are:
- Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of those systems’ hardware, software and related infrastructure.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Contribute to and maintain system standards.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
- Evaluation of new versions, patches, firmwares and security patches.
- Apply OS and application (Exchange/Lync/EV/other) patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
- Maintain operational readiness ensuring complete recovery in the event of a disaster. Attend DR tests regularly, as outlined in the company policies and procedures to ensure DR functionality. Update the policies and procedures as required.
- Provide assistance in new projects during all stages including assessment, planning, designing, initiation, and implementation for the domain of responsibility.
- Implementing change management processes and user requests on systems.
- Implementing security policies on servers according to the best practices and company procedures.
