• University Degree; preferably with MBA
• Minimum 5 years of Packaging Development Experience in FMCG environment
• Solid and proven track record on Team Management, Working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams in the development of high impact innovative solutions
• Excellent command of English

• Enable and Deliver the Packaging Deploy Program OTIF: Management, facilitation and delivery of assigned Foods Category packaging initiatives. 
• Partner with GDC Packaging Team, R&D Packaging Project teams, brand, product development, CTI and suppliers to co-create, collaborate and facilitate in the flawless execution of packaging initiatives
• Embed packaging deploy best-practice and processes
• Collaborate with brand and key cross-functional partners on packaging briefs and execution
• Support and partner with suppliers to achieve best in class, award winning packaging solutions
• Effectively and efficiently deliver agreed program OTIF

• Champion the Global Technology Convergence Agenda: In alignment with global team, regional supply chain and procurement team, support and drive the Foods Category towards our medium/long-term core design ambition.
• In collaboration with global packaging teams, help facilitate and roll-out the packaging technology convergence program
• Representation of the Packaging ambition across all relevant forums - in collaboration with line manager and Category Packaging Director – as and when required
• Master packaging functional requirements 

• Consumer Centric Packaging Engineering: Shape, inform and participate in consumer research work in close collaboration with our internal and external consumer insight departments and agencies.  

• Practitioner of Holistic Experience Design: Help to foster design relationships and processes in Foods, Cross functionally and externally.  Demonstrate a thorough understanding of front-end creative thinking to back end technical engineering including methodologies and tools.
• Connect packaging engineering and design
• Scouting the market for technology and design innovation
• Help coaching of Foods R&D staff and cross functional team members on packaging engineering and the power of design
• Contribute in and/or lead design workshops on packaging development and Holistic Experience Design
• Ensure Design best practices are known and utilised in the Regions, when necessary
• Built, embrace and leverage the internal and external prototyping ecosystem
