Back End Developer at Trio Mobil (Node.js) (1 opening)
Trio Mobil is looking for a passionate Node.js Back End Developers to work in our IoT engineering team. The successful candidate will be a key part of a small team using the latest Javascript techniques and frameworks to create an elegant, fast and highly available backends for Trio Mobile products.
The successful candidate will be part of a team creating elegant, fast, testable, and accessible user interfaces. Be part of our workflow process that values code-reviews, continuous integration, and opportunities to constantly learn and improve technical skills.
Desired Background:
- 4+ years relevant job experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience utilizing best practices and JavaScript-appropriate design patterns to create
- Expert knowledge in Node.js and npm
- Expert knowledge in MongoDB, Redis
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience with Javascript build and automation tools such as NPM, Bower, Gulp, or Webpack
- Experience with Github, Git, Travis or other Integration tools
- Knowledge on design and consumption of REST-based APIs
- Experience with testing tools such as Jasmine and Karma
- Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English & Turkish
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision
Extra Credit:
- Past open source contributions
- Experience with Agile methods
- Experience with AWS services (Dynamodb, API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, ElastiCache, IoT, RDS)
- Experience with MQTT protocol
- Experience building enterprise micro-services solutions
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI Specification
- Experience with distributed development teams
- Considerable understanding of HTML5
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
