• Minimum 5 years experience,
• Strong analysis and reasoning skills, results oriented, effective time and task management, team player, keeping current with new developments in technology, experience in project management and processes.
• Significant knowledge and experience in Oracle DB, RAC, ASM, Dataguard, RMAN,
• Significant knowledge with Clustering, Disaster Recovery, Backup/Restore,
• Experience and knowledge with database security and related standards,
• Experience with new version analysis, Migration/Upgrade/Patch, and solving DB problems,
• Experience with performance tuning, database and system performance monitoring, capacity planning and other Oracle applications.
• Knowledge about subsets, masking, and archiving,
• Experience with developing policy, procedures and standards documents,
• Knowledge about Data storage, operating systems, backups, application servers and network,
• Knowledge about Big Data architecture,
• Fluent in English

İŞ TANIMI

• Gain and keep the architectural knowledge for existing IT Databases and Big Data Systems (Dev, Test, Preprod, Prod, DR), and make updates where needed. •     Define and update the architecture, standards and the procedures relating to databases, application servers and big data planning.
• Analyze, design, define configuration, and prepare compliant architecture regarding  database and big data requirements for projects.
• Perform database and application server planning tasks in relation to IT projects and requests, manage projects, and prepare status reports for the group manager and other related parties.
• Participate in IT Infrastructure capacity and performance planning activities, prepare solution plans, and perform, coordinate and support planned activities.
• Installation of databases and big data infrastructures where needed. Operation of these until they are handed over to the Operation team. Undertaking performance tuning/backup/restore tasks.
• Follow developments in technology, and develop new competency based on new technology in order to keep IT Database systems current for satisfying business needs.  Undertake relevant research and test tasks.
