What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in similar areas
* Bachelor's or Master Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
* Very good command of English 
* Advanced in MS Office applications and SAP
* Know-how on lean manufacturing principles and 5S will be plus,
* Know-how on time measurement methods (Refa, MTM etc.) and ergonomic work place design

What else do I need to know?
* Male candidates should have completed the military service requirements
* No restriction to travel abroad

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Siemens Gebze Medium Voltage Switchgear factory is the lead factory for Air Insulated Switchgears in Siemens World and exporting more than 80 countries worldwide. We are looking for a production planning engineer in Production Planning team. The role will require to plan and coordinate the orders for production that are coming from Siemens regional companies worldwide.

What are my responsibilities?
* Drawing up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet dispatch dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
* Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
* Organizing assembly periods and delivery time for Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear.
* Entering orders into SAP and making necessary transactions to let procurement department to see demand of materials.
* Making the material availability check in related milestones.
* Checking existing production load & capacity and changing the plan if it is necessary.
* Providing co-ordination between groups and production
* Preparing production statistics.
* Participating Process Development activities.
* Taking proactive actions to prevent delays and making corrective and preventive actions accordingly
