Required Experience and Educational Background:

We are looking for high-performing and dynamic candidates who possess a successful track record as well as the following qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of core/hands-on Test Automation experience
• Experience with HP UFT or SELENIUM, APPIUM or open source and vendor driven test automation tools, frameworks, and language choices
• Experience in application architecture concepts and design patterns
• Proven experience in driving significant RoI through test automation in terms of quality and speed for API, mobile, microservices, and traditional applications.
• Strong experience in automaton choices and best practices for RESTful APIs, HTML, SOAP, JSON, iOS, Android, and Angular application.
• Sound knowledge across industry wide language and framework choices: Java, Java Script, JUnit, Node, Ruby, Appium, Espresso, Jbehave/Cucumber, Jasmine, Protractor, Databases, APIs (REST/SOAP), Code scanning tools (e.g. Sonar), Continuous Delivery (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo), and batch automation (Spring batch applications).
• Experience with performance engineering and profiling and tools such as Load Runner, JMeter. Exposure to Application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk desirable
• Complete understanding of the technology required for cloud computing, IAAS, PAAS and SAAS modules – experience with Pivotal desirable
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-a-code concept and tools such as Chef/Puppet desirable
• The ability and the knowledge to implement secure software delivery practices, e.g. code scanning, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Good command of English

• Architecting and implementing automation framework level enhancements and solutions
• Understand end-customer needs and associated value chain to drive processes and practices to ensure flawless customer experience.
• Work closely with business in identifying solution requirements and key case-studies/scenarios for the future solution, in the realm of Test Automation
• Compare and contrast different approaches to Automation for diverse set of applications and provide subject matter expertise and consulting to automation testers, developers and Clients in some cases.
• Assist in proof of concept/implementations and make recommendations relating to potential collaboration, partnerships, and underlying business opportunities.
• Responsible for maintaining, improving and implementing QA automation Framework and custom automation libraries for different systems
• Work with DevOps team to create/maintain automated builds, application stability validation suites, implement QA solutions for CI/CD
• Collaborate with Dev and QA teams in all aspect of the automation development process from requirement gathering through iterative develop-and-test cycles
• Document and define QA automation processes
• Advise on and manage Test Process Improvement program
• Raise the quality of the product by providing complete, quick, reliable, and easy to interpret script results
• Solving complex code problems to maintain an error free, minimal maintenance test automation solution
• Should be able to estimate, plan, architect, and lead teams in successful delivery of automation projects
• Should be able to guide, mentor and train individuals / teams / training batches – should be open to conducting training as a part of the overall role
• Supervise and mentor testing team involved in the creation of test strategies and test plans
• Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance for multiple projects in the areas of quality and testing
• Must be able to relocate as needed by the company and Perform- other duties as assigned or requested
• Consult on Agile testing and test automation (accelerators, tools and partner's products)
• Prepare technical presentations and communications and deliver presentations tailoring the message to audience type.
