QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • University degree in Sciences or Social Seciences, preferably with Chemical Engineering or related discipline background
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Preferably no military obligation for male candidates


İŞ TANIMI

  • Deliver qualitative, quantitative and sensory consumer research support to Hair Product and Packaging Development by interacting in a multi-disciplinary business environment, providing a critical link between the Cluster Category unit, and particularly the R&D team, and the consumer
  • Delivery of outstanding communications for our innovations that are robustly supported in technical and consumer understanding
  • Work with Consumer Technical Insights Manager together with Brand/ Consumer Market Insights in developing product stories for several key projects, ensuring that we maximize the consumer claims opportunities from our science and innovation
  • The position requires working on multiple Innovation projects under the supervision of the Consumer Technical Insights Manager and in some cases leading the Consumer Technical Insights work stream for certain projects
  • Employ a sound understanding of the category, brands, competitive environment and technology to develop robust strategies to support product claims and defend or attack product claims by challenge
  • Define and or contribute to the research proposal for innovation, strategic or competitor benchmarking studies by engaging with the product or packaging development teams during the brief and proposal stages
  • Define the claims template, brief and work plan in consultation with the project team with approval from the Technical Project Leader, Consumer Technical Insights and Formulations Directors, Legal, Regulatory and Marketing Project Leader
  • Conduct or coordinate the completion of any claims associated product testing whether it is technical, clinical or consumer testing. Conduct is defined as the self execution of a test. Coordinate is defined as ensuring that functional leads such as Consumer Technical Insights, Appraisal, Clinical or Analytical Scientists perform claims testing on time and in compliance with the project work plan
  • Capture all relevant claim support data, interpret and write the claims support dossier.  Report and or present the findings: Capture all relevant data, Analyze consumer test data or technical measurement data using a multi-faced statistical approach, interpret the results or lead agencies on report/analysis preparation, drawing out big and relevant consumer insights and or claims that will drive a new communication idea
  • Understand and apply appropriate methodology to suit study objectives, share best practice amongst team/cluster and adapt and/or input into novel methodologies where necessary
  • Translate claims into demonstrations that are consumer relevant and drive innovation understanding with consumers, sales, legal, pr/advertising agencies, and external category influencers (magazine editors, etc)
  • Analyze the product competitive environment to identify possible competitive challenge opportunities. In the event of product challenge, execute and prepare defence testing and claims dossier
  • Support the Consumer Technical Insights Manager in developing the Hair category claims capability by leveraging our science and consumer insights into compelling consumer claims
  • Drive and represent cluster consumer understanding in R&D (both in cluster and category teams) through sharing learnings and organising/engaging in consumer immersions
  • Act as a core member of Cluster Project Teams to provide, technical consumer and claims inputs at all phases of the Innovation Funnel. Capture all cluster Consumer Technical Insights/Claims needs and ensure these are reflected in global projects
  • Drive best practice for Consumer Technical Insights capability and culture in the Hair category
  • As a member of the Consumer Technical Insights team, the job holder will be expected to integrate fully into the activities of the Consumer Technical Insights team to embed the behaviours required to support the Consumer Technical Insights vision
