• University degree in scientific area (e.g. Engineering, Chemistry) or University degree in Business Administration with focus on Supply Chain/Logistics (Master degree of Science or Business Administration will be an asset).
• At least 5 years management experience in Supply Chain and / or on production sites with good technical and chemical know how. Good understanding of chemical production combined with advanced knowledge of supply chain / logistics processes will be preferred.
• Good understanding & experience of Demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in Sales and  Marketing operations, Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain issues.
• Knowledge and experience in operational site responsibilites, foreign trade international business, ISO 9001/14001 Quality and Environmental Management Systems, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety and local import & export customs regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Operational Excellence. Greenbelt certification desired.
• Good Problem-solving, networking, creative thinking and analytical decision making skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with high level of engagement for team work, lateral leadership, change management, detail orientation and accuracy.
• Strong negotiation, customer focus, relationship management skills and ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (German will be an asset).

İŞ TANIMI

• Manage Gebze Site Logistics Department, including two teams comprising Supply Planning & Replenishment and Export Customer Service & Warehouse Management.
• Key stakeholder in the Sales & Operation Planning process for all local and export customers of Gebze Site.
• Manage Supply Chain KPI`s (e.g. DOH, Stock Level, OTIF, Year End Inventory, Slow Movers, Inventory to Sales Ratio, Planning Adherence, etc), measure and follow up deviations where necessary.
• Coordination of creation and maintenance of the mid and long term as well as the detailed production plan for all formulation/filling resources in Gebze Site together with production department.
• Lead the planning and on time replenishment of all active ingredients, raw materials, and packaging materials for the site together with corporate procurement.
• Manage site logistics related processes including import & export, master data maintenace, planning, replenishment, warehousing and distribution are optimized, staffed accordingly and performed in a professional manner.
• Ensure the necessary training for the site logistics team members. Develop the team and help them grow further by continuous coaching and candid feedback processes.
• Lead all continuous improvement activities within Site Logistics team.
• In case of problems in the area of supply, resulting from issues at vendor or production level, coordinate the process of solution finding together with procurement, sales, product supply, customers and regional & global partners.
• Provide higher reliability and predictability in the Supply Chain processes and by that contribute to an improved customer satisfaction.
• Manages all site logistics processes related with HSE & Sustainability and foreign trade are in full compliance with all local laws and Bayer global regulations.
