BSH Home Appliances is searching for an Intellectual Property Manager (Patent Manager) to be employed in Çerkezköy Production Plant;

• More than 8 years of experience in Intellectual Property Strategies for business, technical and law in related industries,
• Proven record of team management experience,
• Engineering background,
• Advanced level of English knowledge.

İŞ TANIMI

To strengthen competitive position of BSH in the regional Market (T-MEA-CIS) by ensuring legal basis, regional protection and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (IP) on BSH Technologies, Innovations, Designs and Trademarks/Brands/Naming as well as by ensuring regional #freedom-to-operate# for BSH Products, providing Regional IP Contract Counselling and securing regional entrepreneurial IP Management and regional IP Administration and Support.

 

Detailed job description including but not limited to:

 

• Accountability for Regional Definition, Synchronization and Implementation of a Regional IP Strategy in line with Global IP Strategy and Regional Technology & Innovation Strategy,
• Accountability for definition and implementation of Regional entrepreneurial IP Management Organization and IP Management Processes in line with Global IP Organization and Processes and Regional Product Division, Technology & Innovation Organization and Processes, including implementation through disciplinary direction of a Regional IP-Department,
• Disciplinary and functional accountability for IP services on Regional operative IP Rights protection of Regional BSH Technologies, Innovations, Designs and Trademarks/Brands/Naming (#IP prosecution#),
• Disciplinary direction of a Regional IP-Department and based on consultation with and counseling for Regional Product Divisions and Technology & Innovation Divisions and Regional Marketing management,
• Responsibility for Regional Enforcement of BSH IP Rights against third parties (infringement litigation),
• Disciplinary and functional accountability for IP services on Regional #freedom to operate# # analysis for BSH Products (#Product Clearings#), i.e. performing check of new Regional BSH products / features against possible conflicting third party IP rights,
• Accountability for Regional IP contracts and Regional R&D and IP Contract Counseling,
• Accountability for Regional IP Administration and Regional IP Support services i.e. accountability for Regional Cost charging according to BSH Group R&D Framework Agreements as well as Regional Controlling of IP Service Provider,
• Leadership and assigment of personnel based on individual competencies and definition of strategic Regional goals and tasks,
• Providing and securing Regional IP professional training and secure development of Regional IP personnel including counseling through disciplinary direction of a Regional IP-Department.
