• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical&Electronics, Control, Electronics & Communication Engineering (Master Degree/Ph.D. is a plus),
• Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D/Project Management,
• Having experience in 3-phase power control, analytical control system theory development and analysis is required,
• Strong knowledge of torque control techniques,
• Having experience in selection, calculation, and standards of the industrial component,
• Excellence in simulation/analysis software (Matlab Simulink (preferred), VisSim, Simplorer etc.),
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English (German is a plus),

İŞ TANIMI

Arçelik is looking for a Senior Specialist – (R&D) Power Electronics Design who will work for Tumble Dryer and Electric Motors Directorate.

• Designing, developing and testing new and existing inverter products for applications including industrial, commercial and special purpose,
• Defining requirements for motor control software and interfacing hardware components including voltage and current sensors and speed sensors,
• Designing, modeling, implementing, testing and benchmarking the motor controls of motor drives,
• Adopting, conceptualizing and synthesizing requirements for functions and algorithms for power electronics & motor control strategies new and existing products and embedded software for Induction and PM motors for robust variable speed drives in harsh environments such as pumps, machine tools and other applications,
• Understanding and performing as needed, coding at system/subsystem level in C/C++ or assembly language for CPU, microcontrollers/digital signal processors and FPGA/CPLD in controllers,
• Being responsible for verification of requirements by analysis and modeling of control systems using simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink and documenting by publishing reports,
• Being responsible for verification of requirements by leading testing and validation of drive and motor control systems for low and medium voltage induction and permanent magnet synchronous motors using software tools including emulators, debuggers, hardware in the loop and simulations,
• Working closely with team members as needed to ensure final product has compatible software, hardware which functions properly together and performs per product specifications,
• Driving business priorities, programming execution needs, and systems viewing of problem-solving while executing detailed engineering activities in the specific field of expertise,
• Undertaking the full development cycle from specification, design, schematic capture, through to supporting PCB layout, manufacture and assembly operations while following and developing design procedures,
• Designing requirements and industry standards in terms of EMC, creepage and clearance, thermal management, and robustness,
• Coordinating with customers to understand and create system and subsystem specifications/requirements in inverters & control systems.
