QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Capital Markets Advisory Analyst
Yapi Kredi Yatirim Capital Markets Advisory (CMA) team is an experienced capital markets group, with a particular focus on debt and equity capital market solutions for its corporate clients in both international and Turkey local markets. CMA provides a combination of advisory and structuring solutions along with a strong international and domestic distribution platform and research capabilities.
The CMA team is now looking to hire an analyst based in Istanbul
General Qualifications:
ü BA/BS degree from a reputable university (engineering, science, finance, economics, management or similar degrees)
ü Min 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred (at investment banks, audit firms or management consultants)
ü A keen, long-term interest in investment banking and capital markets
ü Drive, enthusiasm, commitment and excellent interpersonal skills
ü Strong self motivation
ü Strong oral and written communications skills
ü Strong quantitative and analytical skills, good academic record
ü Financial statement analysis and financial modeling experience is a plus.
ü Expert in Excel and Powerpoint
ü Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines
ü Good command of English
ü Involve in all aspects of the transaction execution, including regulatory process and marketing of the deal to investors
ü Analyze prospective companies for IPOs or debt capital market issuances
ü Create memos and roadshow presentations in order to effectively communicate potential transactions to internal committees and prospective investors
ü Monitor and analyze capital market trends and transactions based on competitor activities and regulatory changes
ü Track the team’s activities and KPIs
ü Participate in idea generation to generate new business
ü Cooperate with sales and operations departments in executing the transactions
