QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Chief of Supply Chain to join our operation in Balıkesir region for whom report to Finance Manager.
  • At Least University Degree, master on supply & logistic or MBA is preferred,
  • At least 8 years work experience with 3 years in Chief level in Supply and Logistics,
  • Experience in a mining operation, cement, oil or energy is peffered,
  • Good negotiation, inter-personal and communication skills,
  • Strong experience in SAP and Ms Office Programs
  • Good understanding of financial planning,
  • Excellent reporting abilities,
  • Experience in a multinational organization is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English,
  • No military obligation for male candidates.


İŞ TANIMI

  • Managing  the commercial terms and negotiations of all major vendor contracts,
  • Leading commercial negotiations and project planning of all office moves and/or re-negotiations of lease renewals,
  • Working closely with Finance department to manage the approval process of vendor invoice payments,
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and contractual obligations,
  • Leading procurement projects, quota management and supporting technical team on other supply chain initiatives,
  • Establishing and implementing policies, procedures and processes to support procurement activities,
  • Developing procurement strategies to achieve continuity of high and competitive supply,
  • Optimizing logistics costs through process definition and control,
  • Managing warehouses &  Logistics activities,
  • Executing  price reductions and efficiencies for contract renewals of non-compensation costs,
  • Developing and maintain a new vendor selection approval and control process across the firm,
  • Conduct supplier audits and prompt/timely completion of all action items,
  • Makes sure the cost is under given KPIs,
  • Drive supplier pre-qualification (Technical, Financial, HSE), close monitoring and knowledge of Logistic,
  • Prepare and issue invitations to tender. Being in close cooperation with the Contract Holder while defining the demand, clarification of technical specifications,
  • Prepare and present contracting strategy, tender and award proposals to Management for endorsement,
  • Run tender clarification process and negotiations with suppliers,
  • Set-up and manage an auditable Records Management System for Contracting & Procurement,
  • Develop and execute the Contract Management Plan where required by cooperate with the Contract Holders,
  • Provide Commercial support to Contract Holders during contract execution, and contribute to continuous performance drive.
