QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
RES Anatolia which is part of RES Group (one of the leading renewable energy companies in worldwide) is seeking for a Technical Manager for its Istanbul Office.
•Degree in Engineering or Physics
•Proven experience in the technical aspects of wind farm development: required
•Experience in team management: required
•Experience in managing contractors: required
•Knowledge of PV technology: desired
•Fluency in English
•Knowledge of atmospheric modeling tools: WASP WindFarm: expert.
•Knowledge of GIS tools (Arc View, AutoCAD): advanced.
•Competence in atmospheric modeling: advanced
•English: expert.
Soft skills: interpersonal skills, team spirit, sharing knowledge, leadership, solution oriented, management of priorities, analytical skills.
•Coordination of the technical aspects (wind measurements, resource assessment, siting and layout design, energy yield, acoustics, GIS) of onshore wind projects during the development phases.
•Coordination of the technical aspects (solar measurements, resource assessment, layout design, energy yield, GIS) of PV projects during the development phases.
•Prospecting of Greenfield sites and initial site evaluation.
•Managing met tower contractors and supervising in-house Instrumentation work
•Coordination of the technical information required for due diligence investigations.
•Support to turbine procurement
•Contribution to the development of the team's skills and liaison with the group headquarters and the agencies.
•And any other activities related to the project development of the company.
HSE
•Respect and implementation of quality and safety procedures within the company and with contractors.
•Propose and implement internal procedures to improve the quality process.
•Ensure the respect of procedures within the team and with contractors.
•Participate in or initiate corrective actions.
