• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Database Administration or a related field. 
• Typically 8 to 10 years hands-on experience in Oracle&SQL database technologies. 
• Solid communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal). 
• Understanding of change management principles associated with new technology implementations.
• Collaborates effectively with peers and clients.
• At least 3 years Database Team Leader experience.
• Technical certification in Technical Area of Specialty i.e. Oracle&SQL Database preferred (up-to-date Oracle certifications certainly a plus).
• Maintains solid knowledge of Oracle&SQL database technology and its application across Enerjisa. 
• Promotes knowledge via seminars, presentations and publications within IT and Enerjisa. 
• Participates in technological innovation to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems.
• Independence level: works under minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting Oracle RAC, DataGuard, and SQL AlwaysOn technologies.
• Ability to prioritise work and workloads across a team.
• Good decision making and problem solving skills.

İŞ TANIMI

Provide technical expertise to support delivery and maintenance of IT solutions. Provide IT teams and business personnel with technology solutions by weighing advantages of technology standards, market availability of products, and risks and benefits of technology to meet business/IT needs.  

• To supervise the SQL and Oracle Database Administrators.
• Draw on solid experience with the many facets of Oracle&SQL database administration to create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage. 
• Perform capacity planning required to create and maintain databases and work closely with system administration staff. Perform ongoing tuning of the database environments. 
• Install new versions of the database software and tools and any other related tools that access the database. 
• Plan and implement backup and recovery of the database. 
• Implement and enforce security for all assigned databases. 
• Execute and Enforce existing Enerjisa standards, to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance. Ensure that any new product usage or release upgrade is adopted with minimal impact. 
• Provide DBA support to application support teams. Administer database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures related to any projects assigned. Assist with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects. Troubleshoot with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
