• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering and experience in operating a large gas fired power plant.
• At least 10 years of experience in a combined cycle power plant and experience in the role of Operations Manager.
• Proven knowledge of gas turbine plant with heavy duty gas turbines, primarily on “F” technology, large reheat steam turbines and hydrogen cooled generators, as well as associated ancillary equipment.
• Knowledge and experience on the requirements of today’s power market, including day-ahead, intra-day and balancing markets.
• Knowledge of plant performance monitoring systems.
• Knowledge and experience in trouble shooting of complex problems using the tools of Data Historian, SOE/Post Trip Review and AMS.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet models and reports.

İŞ TANIMI

İçanadolu Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) is currently under construction on a Greenfield site located on the outskirts of City of Kırıkkale. The Plant will comprise of two gas turbines and one steam turbine to be built in 2+1 configuration. Once it is completed, plant will supply a net output of 840 MW power to the national grid and support reliability within the service territory. Gas Turbines are heavy duty frame type that is GE’s latest FB design with DLN 2.6 combustion system. Key responsibilities ;

• Responsible for complete operation activities of the plant including, but not limited to, directing operations team for compliance with dispatch instructions, operation routines, switching operations, planning and conducting routine tests, monitoring of equipment operating trends and taking initiative to prevent equipment trips and damage.
• Supervising operations team to ensure that they perform all of the duties necessary to safely and efficiently operate the plant equipment, meet dispatch and availability requirements and complete all required reports.
• Securing of the safety for staff and plant during day to day operation as well as during start up and shut down and repair measures.
• Ensuring that the plant meets availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets, safely and within strict environmental limits.
• Coordination of the development of plant procedures and shift instructions, including safety procedures, statutory regulations, outage schedules and routine test and inspection schedules.
• Manage the processing, approving, closing and status reporting of fault notifications, work orders and isolations and the monitoring of the ‘Permit to Work’ and ‘LOTO’ system.
• Assist the Station Manager in the preparation of departmental budgets and goals.
• Work with the Technical Support Manager in administering the computerized maintenance management system.
