Embedded Software Design Architect

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering,
• 6+ years’ experience required in designing real-time embedded systems
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Java is an advantage
• Very high quality programming talents targeting defect free deliverables
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets,
• Excellent knowledge of Linux system calls, OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystem
• Experience in Linux/Unix Environment
• Experience in telecom protocols is an advantage
• Experience in security is an advantage
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools and defect tracking tools
• Awareness of current practices & advances in the world of firmware development
• Linux driver experience an asset
• Strong analytical skills,
• Adequate knowledge of reading standard documents, schematics and data sheets for components,
• Strong documentation and writing skills.
• Strong English communication skills
• Target and deadline oriented working

İŞ TANIMI

• Architect, design, develop, test and maintain embedded software running on various computing platforms
• Estimate scope, duration, effort and risk on project proposals
• Prepare and present design reviews documentation to support reliability, robustness, functionality of the design and compliance to specifications
• Review the work of other developers.
• Maintain the software repository and modular function library code.
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources,
• Support software QA and optimize I/O performance,
• Manage technical interactions with internal customers and make sure deliverables are as per expectations
• Provides technical supervision and guidance for lower level engineers and other technical personnel
