What do I need to qualify for this job?
* 1+ years’ experience working as a UI Designer in a Software Development environment (visual design, icon design, web design etc.).
* 1+ years’ experience working as a UX Designer in a Software Development environment (personas, wireframes, scenarios, user research, usability testing etc.).
* Experience on HTML5, CSS3.
* Expertise in any UX software such as Adobe Design Suite, Sketch, etc.
* Able to transform low-fidelity wireframes into beautiful, high-fidelity user interfaces across a diverse range of platforms.
* Facilitate client’s product visions by researching, conceiving, wire framing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
* Knowledge of User Centered Design and Responsive Design.
* Good visual skills and understanding current design trends.
* Flexible thinkers, willing to try “crazy” things, out-of-the-box thinkers.
* General knowledge of modern JavaScript UI design libraries such as; Angular etc.
* General knowledge of Agile SW processes.
* General knowledge of Continuous Integration Concepts.
* Team player, customer focused with good interpersonal skills, positive and energetic attitude.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Excellent command of English, German will be plus.

Siemens Digital Grid Services & Solutions is researching and developing the future technologies and products of Siemens Group. As being the integral part of this great R&D group, Siemens Digital Grid Turkey is mainly focused on software development relevant on Power System Engineering products and solutions. To accomplish the mission of the group, the candidate will perform as a UX Designer in user interface transition from legacy user interfaces (UI) to modern web based UI designs for Siemens Software Portfolio.

 What are my responsibilities?
* Working within the software development team across primary locations to develop and support commercial application software for electrical power system modeling and analysis.
* Developing and designing Web-based applications and components under the direction of the development manager(s)
* Developing a consistent strategy for UI/UX experience.
* Ability to work within a cross-functional group of peers in abroad locations and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
* Collaborating with engineers to define task flows that can be implemented within time and resource constraints.
* Requiring minimal direction from leadership and possesses the ability to learn quickly.
* Providing accurate effort estimation and analysis of tasks required, and actively participating in project status reviews.

What else do I need to know?
* In the interview, candidates are expected to demonstrate their former studies in a portfolio.
* No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily.
* Military service should be completed for male candidates or postponed more than 2 years.
