General Electric

• University degree in Finance or Business Management with Financial qualification,
• Min. 3 years of qualified finance experience in a global organization,
• Audit experience would be a plus,
• Experience of accounting in a project environment,
• Good knowledge of engineering turnkey projects and manufacturing knowledge is an asset,
• Strong financial and analytical skills, action and result oriented nature; self-driven,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide leadership to the team and work co-operatively at various levels,
• Knowledge of an ERP system, particularly SAP would be preferable,
• Very good command of written and spoken English,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Residing in Ankara.

İŞ TANIMI

• Provide Financial control, support and challenge to the project execution team to which they are assigned.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that project cost projections are at all times thorough and fully considered and the margin at completion proposed is both accurate and challenged.
• Ensure that all documents (including risks & opportunities, planning & BDRs) that are required for the project review process are prepared in a timely manner, to customer expectations, and are fully reconciled.
• Act as the Leading Project Controller where the project includes other Grid Solutions units in order to receive, review, challenge the date of the participating units, and present the consolidated project review together with the Project Manager.
• Ensure that cash or trading milestones are produced in a timely manner in conjunction with the Project Managers and according with Accounting and company rules.
• For new projects or Variation Orders, ensure proper booking of Order Intake with accurate Gross Margin and define the trading plan. Coordinate setting up of letter of credits, bonds, and all project specific insurances and manage the related documentation.
• At the end of each month work with Management Controllers and Finance Shared Service Accountants to ensure that all information is provided in order to complete a timely and accurate close down and that project related P&L and B/S are in line with expectations.
• Liaise with Finance and Operation Management in order to ensure that they are kept informed at all times of any developments on the projects that may have an impact on the performance of the unit and that the approach to project control is in line with the overall unit and business strategy and processes.
