Logistics Operations Manager

DHL Supply Chain

• Master of Sciences in Industrial Engineering and Management, Specialization in Logistics
• At least 5 years experience in logistics sector
• Preferably healthcare operation experience
• Solid understanding of the logistics business desirable
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English

İŞ TANIMI

The scope of this position is to provide operational excellence, delivering results, providing customer satisfaction, retaining existing business and contributing new business development activities in the own sites. Maximizing operational performance by managing daily, weekly and monthly activities, leading employees, increasing their motivations, ensuring they get trainings and develop, acting according to customer requirements.

• Understanding, analyzing and meeting customer requirements through effective operations in the own site
• Offering a clean, safe and fair work environment for all team employees in the own site
• Establish effective communication/governance within the operations team to ensure alignment and successful execution of objectives in the own sites
• Engage with key customers in support of process improvement and growth opportunities
• Develop service standards and site metrics for performance management and improvement opportunities.
• KPI management to meet contract terms and DHL expectations
• Tracking trend analysis of source use and output amount by monitoring general data of the site. Interfering in cases of changes
• Closely monitoring site operations, monitoring and increasing supplier and shipper performances for own site
