Internal Communication Specialist

• University Degree (BA or BS) required – Business, Journalism or Communications preferred; MBA or equivalent a plus
• 5-7 years relevant experience in corporate/employee communications
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management skills; strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal stakeholders; demonstrates positive attitude, enthusiasm and passion
• Superior organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability/desire to multi task
• Ability to align closely with senior leaders while assuming responsibility for owning projects and delivering results
• Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner
• Proven track record in employee relations on a variety of corporate topics and issues including HR-related subjects, operations, executive communications, business education, employee engagement, change management
• Experience with social media tools and technologies (e.g., Twitter, YouTube, Facebook) and their applications to internal communications
• Strong skills with Microsoft Applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc. HTML and basic graphic design skills a plus.

• Develop innovative communications and messaging that inform and strengthen the employee community across business units and functions
• Develop and implement an annual strategic internal communications plan
• Lead the redesign of and maintain the company’s intranet, ensure content is consistent with department strategies and supports the corporate culture
• Develop leader and employee messages aimed at inspiring, informing, and engaging employees
• Support development of content for all-employee meetings, help prepare internal and external speakers
• Develop communication toolkits that help enable the organization to communicate more effectively and efficiently
• Lead the development and execution of internal communications activities including high-quality written, video and audio collateral (i.e.: plans, presentations, messaging, talking points, Q&A, web content etc.
