• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent department,
• 7+ years relational database administration experience in an Enterprise environment in Microsoft SQL,
• 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following key hardware and software platforms: SQL or Sybase,
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships,
• Written and oral fluency in English,
• Excellent communication skills and having a can-do attitude,
• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills for effective decision,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Reside in Anatolian side of İstanbul, Kocaeli and/or Gemlik-Bursa.

İŞ TANIMI

• As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for developing operating procedures for supporting operational processes such as database backup & recovery, space allocations, failover etc,
• Upgrade database engines to proper vendor release levels as deemed necessary,
• Provide reliable database support to applications development staff,
• Actively participates in the implementation of application system support capabilities such as configuration management, development tool selection, debugging tools,
• Assist in supporting Windows Server Operating system when applicable,
• Extensive experience with implementing and maintaining client-server application development tools,
• Must possess a proven track record of successful issue troubleshooting and resolution,
• Experience in SQL Server Clustering and log shipping, failover cluster and various replication technologies would be an advantage,
• Large infrastructure international big organizations experience is desired,
• Experience in managing 3rd party/outsource development resources,
• Knowledge in all phases of Agile Software Project Management, especially Scrum methodology
