Strategy Planning Specialist

We are looking for a Strategy Planning Specialist to be employed within our central Strategic Planning Department in Şişecam A.Ş

• Bachelor degree in engineering / economics / business administration
• MBA or higher degree is a plus
• 5 years of overall work experience; preferably in Strategic Planning or Business Development functions or strategy consulting
• Experience in strategy development and balance scorecard projects
• History of working with sensitive data and senior executives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to drive recommendations
• Logical problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and working in a dynamic, results - oriented environment
• Strong document, presentation preparation skills and number-crunching capabilities

İŞ TANIMI

Strategy Planning Specialist;
 

• Carry out external and internal analysis including a comprehensive assessment of internal capabilities towards our vision and performance relative to competitors as well as our positioning relative to industry trends
• Ensure the effective communication of the corporate strategies within the Group
• Support the assessment, strategy development and planning associated with new capabilities, new business initiatives and other strategic efforts, partnering with business unit leaders or other resources as necessary (e.g. new market exploration, enhancing capabilities, segment strategies, portfolio strategies)
• Support and oversee group level strategic and operational projects and its alignment with the corporate strategy
• Provides insight and support to the front-end execution of strategic projects including defining initiative scope, requirements, processes, resources and timeline.
• Manage organizational alignment through overseeing the process of company level strategy mapping and scorecard development ensuring that individual company or business unity strategy maps and scorecards are linked each other and to the corporate strategy map and corporate Balanced Scorecard
• Provide coaching and mentoring to business units/companies in selecting scorecard KPIs and performance targets for those KPIs and identifying strategic initiatives required to achieve those targets
• Conduct training and education for business unit heads to enhance their skills for developing strategy maps, scorecards and initiatives
